Maternity Style Inspiration

Pregnancy can be a tough time fashion wise. With an expanding (gulp) figure, limited time and energy and a short time frame to actually wear maternity clothes, it can be hard to feel motivated to keep up your style game during these 10 months. As I mentioned in a previous post, I generally dislike buying (and wearing) maternity clothes. I find I don’t really need dedicated maternity clothes until towards the end of the second trimester and even then most styles are still quite awkward and uncomfortable for me.

However, that being said I’ve noticed so many celebrities killing the maternity style scene lately so I thought I’d do some digging and see if I could put together some outfits that won’t break the bank and would help me get out of my yoga pants and oversized jumpers more often.

I’ve been quite selective in my choices and made sure the important things like jeans, t shirt and dresses are specifically maternity as they are the most figure hugging and then the accessories and outerwear are things you can buy in your normal size and wear post baby as well. For the same reason, all the maternity options are cheaper whilst some other items may be a bit more of an investment. No single item however is over $250. Bargain!

I hope some other pregnant mamas can find some inspiration as well.
