Well in true Melbourne style, we had a smorgasbord of weather this weekend. Luckily for me, I didn’t have anything much planned so I just took it all in my stride and mostly hung out in comfy clothes. I had a few social engagements planned but since we are off overseas in a few weeks and I’m trying to save my pennies for the european shops, I tried to ‘rediscover’ my wardrobe and bring out a few old favourites rather than buying anything new. With that being said, here’s my weekend in outfits. Hope you all had a great weekend too!
This is the only photo I have of what I wore on Saturday. It was raining and overcast so after a family outing to the gym (babies in the creche) in the morning, it was back home for lots of cuddles, stories and general laziness. I love these Bonds lightweight sweaters, they are so perfect for this In-Between weather and for throwing over jeans. I have also been living in these sneakers from Rubi Shoes. I think this colour has sold out but they still have a few options available and some for $5!!! What a steal.
Sunday morning I met a girlfriend for Brunch. Again it was super grey but a little bit muggy. I took my toddler with me and we made it a girls morning out. I wore this off the shoulder top pulled up for a different look and paired it with torn jeans for your ultimate Easy Sunday Style. Excuse my tired eyes, it has been a while since I’ve had a full nights sleep!
We had drinks at a friends house. Again it was super casual and although still grey when we left, the sun came out and we were all boiling hot when we were there. I dug out these wedge sneakers from a few seasons ago and paired them with my new denim skirt (see previous post) and a white t-shirt for a low key but smart casual look. I didnt end up needing my jacket after about 30 minutes and I changed into flats!
