Distressed Denim is the hottest trend in jeans wear at the moment. Go into any store or look anywhere online and you will be bombarded with a thousand different options. Currently though ‘distressed’ seems to equate to very, very distressed with most jeans sporting large gaping holes, rips and tears everywhere as well as general fraying and patches.

Obviously I am a big fan of this look, however I do understand that it is not for everyone and it is certainly not for every occasion. Last week I found the perfect pair of ‘Not so distressed’ jeans. These guys (pictured above) are from Cotton On and they are ‘worn’ rather than ‘torn’. No skin shows through the patches and the slightly baggier cut is perfect for a relaxed, casual look. So if you want to try out distressed denim but don’t want to look like you’ve ripped holes in your knees or that you’ve been through the paper shredder, give these guys a go! xx
